Disable PowerOff / Shutdown action on battery critical (Arch / Manjaro Linux – UPower)

Consider the following scenario: You have an older laptop which does not report battery capacity correctly anymore. Also calibrating the battery did not help much – there is still much more runtime at 0%. A default installation of Manjaro (I did not check on Ubuntu, etc.) always Hibernates or HybridSleeps when a certain percentage is reached.

This is all configured in

/etc/UPower/UPower.conf

By default you cannot disable or set it to ignore for this action. Sad. 🙁
But in the AUR is a package called “upower-nocritical” -> https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/upower-nocritical

By installing this it gives you then an “Ignore” option as seen in the screenshot. Voilà, problem solved.
