Windows 10 Autopilot – Quick Start

Wie kann man schnell mit einer Teststellung von Windows 10 Autopilot Deployment beginnen? Ich habe nachfolgend einige Links und Beschreibungen zusammentragen um den Start zu erleichtern.

Get Hardware Hash

PowerShell command:

Danach kann bzw. muss das Windows 10 Gerät zurückgesetzt werden. Via Settings, Update and Security, Recovery, Reset this PC, Remove Everything.

Create Profile / Add Device

Zuerst ein Profil erstellen

Danach das Device hinzufügen (upload der zuvor erstellten csv-Datei).

Azure AD Premium

Azure AD Premium P1 provides the capability to perform an automatic MDM enrolment during an Azure AD Join (an Azure AD Join is what happens to an Autopilot provisioned device currently).

Advisory: don’t use Windows Autopilot without an Azure AD Premium license, it just doesn’t make sense!

User on device is administrator?

Note: if the user is a global administrator on the tenant they will be a local administrator on the device, regardless of the AutoPilot settings.
