Scan with an Epson Perfection V200 under Arch Linux and MacOS

I still have an Epson Perfection V200 which works perfectly fine and also has a Transparency Unit to scan Negatives.
As it’s a quite old scanner so drivers are a bit tricky these days.

Using it under Arch Linux

Easy enough, install the two packages from the AUR:

yay -S iscan iscan-plugin-gt-f670

After this you can easily use the scanner with scanimage!

Using it under MacOS

The scanner was somehow not working when trying to use it via the System Settings – > Printers & Scanners option.

Then I found NAPS2. https://www.naps2.com/

Neat little program, with a lot of options like auto-save, batch scanning etc. Worked on the first try!
